Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible this\u00a0 afternoon and<\/p>\n
tonight. While only a few storms may develop, those that do<\/p>\n
will likely pose a threat of very large, destructive hail to the<\/p>\n
size of tennis balls and damaging winds up to 70 mph. There will<\/p>\n
also be an isolated risk of tornadoes. The threat will be highest<\/p>\n
across central into north central North Dakota, and between 3 PM<\/p>\n
and Midnight CDT.<\/p>\n

Another round of severe thunderstorms may develop across the<\/p>\n
southwest and south central tonight. These storms will primarily<\/p>\n
have strong wind gusts to 60 mph. The threat will be highest<\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi )\u00a0 No structural damage was reported after city crews inspected the viaduct over 4th<\/sup> Avenue Northeast during the 5-p.m. hour, Wednesday.<\/p>\n The northbound lane under the 4th Avenue Northeast viaduct in Jamestown was blocked to traffic early Wednesday evening after an incident involving a semi-trailer rig striking the structure and continuing without stopping.<\/p>\n The mishap led to the\u00a0closure\u00a0from \u00a05:21-p.m. to 5:43 p.m.\u00a0while a\u00a0\u00a0crew from the\u00a0 Street Department assessed any structural \u00a0damage to the viaduct.<\/p>\n Lt. Robert Opp says the investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n Anyone with information on the vehicle involved is asked to call Jamestown Police at 701-252-2414.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Two individuals \u00a0have been charged after they were taken into custody following a pursuit Wednesday.<\/p>\n Jamestown Police reports, that 58 year old Charles Barton, of Fargo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class A felony, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement officers and reckless endangerment, Class A misdemeanors.<\/p>\n 34 year old Travis Fruetel, of Valley City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class A felony.<\/p>\n The pursuit of a vehicle\u00a0shortly after 6-p.m.,\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n Police say the pursuit began\u00a0 at the intersection of 18th Street Southwest and Highway 281.<\/p>\n The vehicle being pursued went through the fence of the buffalo pasture, and then the\u00a0\u00a0suspects fled on foot, east of Buffalo City Diesel.<\/p>\n The pair were caught on foot,\u00a0and taken into custody.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The Frontier Village Association Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of four board members.<\/p>\n The resignations come in the wake of the members be disgruntled with recent issues and the functioning of the board.<\/p>\n The board \u00a05-0 the board to accept the resignations of Vice President, Jim Cofield, Dan Everson, Dale Bercier and Charley Tanata. Board member Jay Diemert was not present to vote.<\/p>\n Tanata, said he was upset with the direction of the board, he said some board members may return if things change.<\/p>\n The board voted 5-0 to elect Tina Willason and Kay Benson, both of Jamestown, as board members.
