{"id":123875,"date":"2017-06-21T13:00:17","date_gmt":"2017-06-21T18:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=123875"},"modified":"2017-06-22T11:03:34","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T16:03:34","slug":"local-donations-growing-wildfire-relief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=123875","title":{"rendered":"Local donations growing, Wildfire Relief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-123878\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WildfireReliefLogo-300x130.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WildfireReliefLogo-300x130.jpg 300w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WildfireReliefLogo-403x175.jpg 403w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WildfireReliefLogo.jpg 460w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) Stutsman County\u2019s 4-H is joining with other community members to \u00a0pack a semi with donated items and needed materials for the Kansas farmers to get ahead start on rebuilding their lives, in support of <a href=\"http:\/\/wildfirerelieffund.org\/\">Wildfire Relief.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Kansas Farm Bureau, has reported that in March 2017 wildfires burned over 700,000 acres in 21 counties, thousands of cattle, homes and ranches were lost to the blazes in Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas .<\/p>\n<p>NDSU Extension Service, Stutsman County 4-H Progam Coordinator, Robin Barnes says, several projects will be donated by Stutsman County 4-Hers along many others providing assistance.<\/p>\n<p>She adds that the \u00a0Stutsman County Farm Bureau will send purchased fencing supplies, Glinz Transfer is providing a semi, fuel and driver to deliver the donations, JP Wiest is providing a 53\u2032 van trailer, UPS Jamestown Store is giving packaging materials for donations and Stutsman County Fair is allowing temporary donation storage.<\/p>\n<p>Other donated newly purchased, homemade items, or 4-H projects, may be dropped off at in the Russ Melland Building at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The community is invited to write encouraging notes to donation recipients at the booth.<\/p>\n<p>Monetary donations can be made out to:<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Farm Bureau<br \/>\nP.O.
