(AP) \u2014 The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 20-year-old man is dead after a car crash near Underwood.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say the man was a passenger in a Honda Accord that rolled on Highway 83 about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The patrol says the car was on its way from Minot to Bismarck when the driver became distracted by something in the vehicle. All three occupants were thrown from the car. None of them was wearing seat belts.<\/p>\n<p>The 20-year-old man died at the scene. The 17-year-old boy who was driving and a 19-year-old woman who was a passenger were taken to a hospital. Their names were not released.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HANKINSON, N.D. (AP) \u2014 A bearing on an auger system that moves corn is being blamed for a weekend fire at an ethanol plant in Hankinson.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 blaze occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday. No one was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Fire departments from Hankinson, Wahpeton and Lidgerwood responded. Richland County Emergency Manager Brett Lambrecht says firefighters had things under control in about an hour.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of damage wasn&#8217;t immediately known.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BOTTINUEAU, N.D. (AP) \u2014 Searchers are looking for a missing boater on Lake Metigoshe in northern North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>Bottineau County sheriff&#8217;s officials say 56-year-old Kelly Krebsbach was operating a pontoon boat Saturday night on Lake Metigoshe.\u00a0 Krebsbach had dropped off some passengers at a cabin on the lake. About a-half hour later, his empty pontoon was spotted.<\/p>\n<p>Searchers from the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, Bottineau and Ward County Dive and Rescue, Bottineau County Fire Department and other volunteers were on scene Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities also conducted an aerial search using an airplane and drones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 A federal judge has ordered another review of whether the already-operating Dakota Access pipeline might unfairly affect the Standing Rock Sioux.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s uncertain how the process will unfold, but there are two main possibilities. Federal officials who permitted the project to move North Dakota oil to Illinois could revise their analysis, or they could conduct a full environmental study.<\/p>\n<p>The tribe says it will fight in court if there isn&#8217;t a full study. Texas-based pipeline developer Energy Transfer Partners expects a &#8220;limited&#8221; process with federal officials reaffirming prior conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>The big question is whether the pipeline will be shut down while the case plays out. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg isn&#8217;t likely to decide until the fall, after lawyers on both sides have had a chance to make their arguments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) \u2014 A committee in Wahpeton has begun work on plans to celebrate the city&#8217;s 150th anniversary next year.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily News reports that a contest to design the sesquicentennial celebration&#8217;s logo also is underway.<\/p>\n<p>The party is scheduled to last the entire year with an activity-filled weekend every season. Over the next year and a half, the Sesquicentennial Committee will work out the logistics of the weekends.<\/p>\n<p>The current itinerary begins with a launch in early February 2019. The Wahpeton Community Center is being considered as a venue.<\/p>\n<p>Economic Development Director Jane Priebe and committee Chairman Chris DeVries are asking all community members to design the sesquicentennial celebration&#8217;s logo. Submissions will be accepted through Aug. 1, and the winner will receive a $150 gift card.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) \u2014 The 90th Missile Wing at Wyoming&#8217;s F.E. Warren Air Force Base has a new commander.<\/p>\n<p>The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports https:\/\/goo.gl\/8dhZJu Col. Stacy Huser assumed command of the &#8220;Mighty Ninety&#8221; following a ceremony Friday. She was most recently the commander of the 91st Operations Group at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>Huser takes the reins from Col. Stephen Kravitsky, who assumed command of the 90th Missile Wing in June 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The missile wing, operating 150 Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles, changes commanders every two years. The move Monday clears the way for a takeover of most of Takata&#8217;s assets by Chinese-owned Key Safety Systems.<\/p>\n<p>BEIJING (AP) \u2014 Coal mining in the U.S. and the world&#8217;s two other biggest coal users has gone up 6 percent following last year&#8217;s record global decline. Mining data reviewed by The Associated Press show that 2017 production through May in the U.S., China and India, is up by at least 121 million tons, compared to the same period last year. U.S. Department of Energy data show that the change is most dramatic in the U.S., where coal mining rose 19 percent in the first five months of the year.<\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014 President Donald Trump is eager to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin with full diplomatic bells and whistles when the two are in Germany for a multinational summit next month.
