Dakota in the late afternoon and early evening shifting to the<\/p>\n

James River Valley later in the evening.<\/p>\n

Large hail<\/a> and damaging winds appear to be the main threats.<\/p>\n

Thereafter, unsettled<\/a> weather continues through the weekend.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police informs the public of a convicted sex offender living in Jamestown.<\/p>\n

Allen Luke Jamgochian is a 31 year old white male five feet nine inches tall, weighing 160 pound with blue eyes and brown hair.<\/p>\n

He resides at 102 4th Avenue Southwest, Jamestown, ND<\/p>\n

He presently does not have a vehicle.<\/p>\n

He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, of the North Dakota\u00a0 Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Offense:\u00a0 Gross sexual imposition involving a 13 year old girl since she was eight or nine years old, when he was 19 year old at the time of the report.<\/p>\n

Conviction Date:\u00a0 April 2007 in\u00a0 Morton County, North Dakota District Court.<\/p>\n

Disposition:\u00a0 Five years, four years suspended, 263 days credit, five years supervised probation.<\/p>\n

Offense:\u00a0 Corrupt\/Solicitation of a Minor involving a 15 year old girl when he was 18.<\/p>\n

Conviction:\u00a0 July 2005, Morton\u00a0 County, North Dakota, District Court.<\/p>\n

Disposition:\u00a0 Six months, six months suspended two years supervised probation.<\/p>\n

Jamgochian is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n

This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n

Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n

Valley City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Valley City Police Chief, Phil Hatcher reports, on Sunday (Jun 25, 2017)\u00a0at 1:42 p.m,\u00a0 the Police Department, was dispatched to Family Dollar Store concerning a man with a gun, in the parking lot.<\/p>\n

The male had reportedly\u00a0 called the store reporting that he was in the parking lot holding a female hostage, and wanted \u00a0pre-paid credit card numbers given to him or he would harm the hostage.<\/p>\n

Valley City Police, and the Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrived on the scene and began to investigate, finding nobody\u00a0 in any cars outside the business, which matched the description\u00a0 of what was reported.<\/p>\n

Officers made contact with the store and determined\u00a0 they were still talking to the suspect on the phone.\u00a0 Officers then took over the call as part of the investigation while officers worked with a cell phone provider to determine the location of the caller.\u00a0 No threat \u00a0of imminent\u00a0 harm, or a hostage was ever located at the Valley City store.<\/p>\n

The cell phone the male suspect\u00a0 was using was \u201cpinged\u201d by the cell phone provider and determined to be in Alabama.\u00a0 Contact was made with the local law enforcement jurisdiction of the ping and further investigation is being done to determine who made the call, and to the extent of other calls being made to other Family Dollar establishment.<\/p>\n

Charges of terrorizing \u00a0are pending at this time.<\/p>\n

Chief Hatcher extends a huge \u201cthankyou,\u201d to the Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the Barnes County Dispatch for the assistance in the matter.<\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Patriotic Wreath Class scheduled for\u00a0 Thursday June 29, 2017 has been postponed.<\/p>\n

Freedom Resourced for Independent Living Jamestown spokesperson Beth Dewald says the instructor is dealing with family health issues and is not able to be present.<\/p>\n

The class will be rescheduled.<\/p>\n
