Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The City of Jamestown informs motorists that beginning immediately, (Monday) \u00a0the east frontage road along Hwy 281 South between 25th<\/sup> & 26th<\/sup> St SW will be closed for utility repairs<\/u>.\u00a0 The road will re-open as soon as is possible.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Motorist should use extreme caution in this area and use alternate routes as necessary.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The cause of an August 15, 2017 fire that extensively damaged a detached garage at 1213 6th Avenue, Southeast, in Jamestown has been turned over to the Jamestown Police Department as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n

That follows a fire department investigation.<\/p>\n

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther\u00a0says the garage was possibly being used as a living space.\u00a0It was not known if the garage was occupied at the time of the fire.<\/p>\n

Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says that it is an open criminal investigation.<\/p>\n

No other\u00a0information\u00a0is being released\u00a0at this time.<\/p>\n
