(AP) \u2014 The North Dakota Public Service Commission has rescheduled a public hearing in Ashley regarding the Merricourt Wind Power Project in Dickey and McIntosh Counties.<\/p>\n<p>The hearing on a proposal to amend the project&#8217;s permit initially was scheduled for June 28 but had to be postponed.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s now been rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 13. It&#8217;s to begin at 10:30 a.m. Central time in Ashley City Hall.<\/p>\n<p>EDF Renewable Development Inc. wants to revise its site plan for the proposed 75-turbine, 150-megawatt wind farm, following coordination with the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service to reduce the risk for whooping cranes and piping plovers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
