(AP) \u2014 The trial for a Denver woman accused of shooting at law enforcement officers during a protest against the Dakota Access oil pipeline in North Dakota has been moved from Bismarck to Fargo.<\/p>\n<p>Red Fawn Fallis has pleaded not guilty in federal court to civil disorder, discharge of a firearm in relation to a felony crime of violence, and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities allege Fallis fired a gun three times at officers during a confrontation last October near a protest camp in Morton County.<\/p>\n<p>In granting a request by defense attorneys for a change of venue, U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland said the move is &#8220;warranted under the circumstances.&#8221; The trial is scheduled to begin on Dec. 5 in Fargo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 North Dakota&#8217;s oil production rose slightly in July and remained above 1 million barrels per day for the sixth consecutive month.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Mineral Resources says the state produced an average of 1.04 million barrels of oil daily in July. That&#8217;s up from from 1.03 million barrels in June.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakota also produced 1.87 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day in July, up from 1.85 billion cubic feet daily in June.<\/p>\n<p>The July tallies are the latest figures available.<\/p>\n<p>There were 56 drill rigs operating in North Dakota on Friday, down two from the July average.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In world and national news&#8230;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>LONDON (AP) \u2014 British authorities say the number of people treated at hospitals after the bombing on the London Underground subway has risen to 29. The National Health Service says 21 people are being treated and eight others have already been discharged. Police say most of those injured by an improvised explosive device on Friday suffered from flash burns. They say there have been no reports of serious life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) \u2014 Universities nationwide are offering emergency hotlines, free legal advice and other measures to immigrant students now facing fears of deportation. The schools are telling them to be hopeful but plan for the worst amid the uncertainty in Washington over whether to preserve protections for immigrants enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA.<\/p>\n<p>ST. LOUIS (AP) \u2014 One man has been arrested during protests in St. Louis that followed the acquittal of a former white police officer who killed a black suspect. St. Louis police say a man was arrested Friday for damaging a police vehicle as protesters marched down a St. Louis street. A judge announced Friday that Jason Stockley was not guilty of first-degree murder, setting off immediate protests throughout downtown.<\/p>\n<p>VATICAN CITY (AP) \u2014 Vatican and U.S. officials say a high-ranking priest working in the Vatican&#8217;s embassy in Washington has been recalled after U.S. prosecutors asked for him to be charged there and face trial in a child pornography investigation. A source says the diplomat was suspected of possessing, but not producing or disseminating, child pornography including images of pre-pubescent children.<\/p>\n<p>CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) \u2014 NASA has said farewell to the Cassini mission at Saturn. The spacecraft disintegrated in the skies above the gas planet on Friday as planned. Radio signals from the spacecraft came to an abrupt halt shortly before 8 a.m. Cassini departed Earth in 1997 and arrived at Saturn in 2004. It spent the last 13 years studying the planet, its rings and moons.
