Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police is warning residents regarding a convicted sex offender living in Jamestown.<\/p>\n
John Sheku Conteh resides at 102 4th<\/sup> Avenue, Southwest, Jamestown, ND<\/p>\n Conteh has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n Conteh is a 37 year old black male, six feet two inches tall weighing 260 pounds with brown eyes, and black hair.<\/p>\n Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition.<\/p>\n Conviction Date: \u00a0February 2015, Cass County, ND District Court.<\/p>\n Disposition: 10 years; first serve 5 years; 127 days credit; 5 years supervised probation.<\/p>\n Conteh is currently on probation with ND Probation and Parole.<\/p>\n Conteh is not wanted by police at this time, and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n Printed handouts of the demographics of Conteh are available at the Jamestown Police Department.<\/p>\n More information on registered sex offenders is available at the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s web site: www.sexoffender.nd.gov<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An official from MDU arrived on the scene and reported the cause of the odor was a “hissing meter,” which was taken care of.<\/p>\n The City Fire Department was released from the scene after about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n JAMESTOWN, N.D.
