News) &#8212; A Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy escaped serious injury when his Sheriff\u2019s pickup truck unit, was involved in an accident during a pursuit, on<strong> July 19, 2012<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff, Chad Kaiser said, Deputy Damien Hoyt was in pursuit of a car reported stolen in Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>The pickup missed a curve about five miles north, and six miles east of Jamestown at about 1:40-a.m., on Thursday July 19, 2012.\u00a0 The pickup landed on its side.\u00a0 Damage was to the driver&#8217;s side of the pickup, mirror, side window, airbag, front fender, hood, and door panel.\u00a0 About $7,600 damage was reported to the Sheriff\u2019s unit.<\/p>\n<p>Hoyt was checked for injuries and released from the hospital.\u00a0 The two suspects were apprehended later in the day in Barnes County by the Sheriff\u2019s Office there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
