These\u00a0strong winds will also bring down colder air, allowing the light\u00a0rain to mix with and change to light snow, especially Thursday\u00a0afternoon into Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Blizzard conditions possible. Travel could be very<\/p>\n
difficult to impossible. Expect damage to trees and power lines<\/p>\n
as well. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches are<\/p>\n
possible. .Winds gusting as high as 60 mph could<\/p>\n
cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant drifting<\/p>\n
of the snow is also possible.<\/p>\n

There are other impacts to consider as well. Wind chill readings\u00a0are expected to dip into the single digits above zero by Friday\u00a0morning. Ground temperatures will be warm initially, but as air\u00a0temperatures fall Thursday night into Friday morning, and with\u00a0the continued gusty north winds, roads could become slick in\u00a0spots. Light snow falling with strong winds could also result in\u00a0low visibilities. Stay tuned for additional information on this\u00a0system over the next few days, but be prepared.<\/p>\n
