It is the second time this season that Arredondo has been named the NSAA Player of the Week.<\/p>\n<p>Karsten Mack of Dickinson State (N.D.) was honored as the Offensive Player-of-the-Week, while his teammate Thomas Sease was selected as the Defensive Player-of-the-Week.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>NSAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Landon Arredondo\u00a0\u2013 Valley City State (N.D.) \u2013 5\u201910\u201d \u2013 201 lbs., Sophomore \u2013 kicker \u2013 Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Arredondo set a new school record with nine (9) successful PAT extra-point kicks in Valley City State\u2019s (N.D.) 66-27 road rout at Presentation (S.D.).\u00a0 He broke the previous record of eight set back in 2010 by Dillon Davis.\u00a0 Arredondo was 10-for-11 on kicks, including 9-for-9 on PAT extra-point kicks and made a 23-yard field goal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (VCSU Sports) VCSU\u00a0 kicker\u00a0Landon Arredondo\u00a0has been named the NSAA Special Teams Player of the Week after setting a new school record on Saturday.
