(AP) \u2014 Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel will continue to promote his home state of North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakota\u2019s tourism agency announced Wednesday in Bismarck that the star of several \u201cTransformers\u201d movies will be paid $365,000 to be the face of the state\u2019s tourism campaign for the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>Duhamel already has earned $525,000 since 2013 to help lure visitors to North Dakota. The state\u2019s biggest draw is Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota\u2019s badlands, but the state is also known for its brutal winter weather.<\/p>\n<p>State Tourism Division Director Sara Otte Coleman says Duhamel has been a good ambassador, and that his television and other advertising have boosted visits to the state.<\/p>\n<p>Duhamel is from Minot, in north-central North Dakota.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
