An infielder, <span style=\"color: red;\">Wilson<\/span> hit .229 in two seasons in the low minor leagues in Colorado&#8217;s system in 2010-11.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, he left the Rockies for football at the University of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson is expected to appear at the Yankees&#8217; major league spring training camp in Tampa, Fla., sometime in March, but has <strong>no plans to try his hand at being a two-sport athlete<\/strong> similar to Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders, according to ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he&#8217;ll participate in pregame workouts with the club and watch games from the Yankees&#8217; dugout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) \u2014 Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been traded \u2014 from the Texas Rangers to the New York Yankees.
