(bubruins.com)\u00a0&#8212; Eighth-ranked University of Jamestown used a stifling defense to secure a 57-44 victory over the Bellevue University women&#8217;s basketball team Friday night in North Star Athletic Association action at Newman Arena.<\/p>\n<p>The loss dropped BU to 16-12 on the season and 9-5 in the NSAA. Jamestown improved to 25-3 overall and a perfect 14-0 in league play. The Jimmies clinched at least a tie for first place in the regular-season standings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>JAMESTOWN, N.D. (bubruins.com)&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bubruins.com\/sports\/mbkb\/2017-18\/bios\/reed_richard_onsh\">Richard Reed<\/a> scored a career-high 24 points, including sinking a pair of free throws that proved to be the game-winning points with 2:19 to play, to lift the (RV) Bellevue University men&#8217;s basketball team to a 76-73 win over #23 University of Jamestown on Friday night in North Star Athletic Association action at Newman Arena.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue (17-10, 9-5 NSAA) has now won three-straight games while Jamestown (19-8, 8-6 NSAA) saw their four-game win streak halted.
