Freewill donations will be accepted for the spaghetti feed, with all proceeds going to the Barnes County United Way to support local nonprofit groups.<\/p>\n<p>United Way of Barnes County, reminds the community that 98 percent of the funds are managed locally for operation expenses and distribution to the following agencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abused Persons Outreach Center<\/li>\n<li>Alano Society<\/li>\n<li>American Red Cross \u2013 Dakotas Region<\/li>\n<li>Barnes County Senior Citizens Council<\/li>\n<li>Boy Scouts<\/li>\n<li>Girl Scouts<\/li>\n<li>Great Plains Food Bank<\/li>\n<li>Hospice of the Red River Valley<\/li>\n<li>Legal Services of North Dakota<\/li>\n<li>Lutheran Social Services Senior Companions<\/li>\n<li>PATH<\/li>\n<li>Sheyenne Valley Imagination Library<\/li>\n<li>Valley City Barnes County Public Library<\/li>\n<li>Valley City Public Schools Milk Break Scholarship Fund<\/li>\n<li>Valley City State University Community School of the Arts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is one of the first events to raise funds for the 2018 allocations. Other annual United Way events include the Sub Sandwich Sale, Golf Tournament and Annual Door to Door Campaign.
