Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police\u00a0 investigated the cause of a two vehicle crash, at the intersection of\u00a0First street West\u00a0and\u00a0First Avenue on the south side of the railroad tracks,\u00a0 at 9:30 am Monday.<\/p>\n

A pickup\u00a0 operated by 65 year old Kenneth Fox of Jamestown was going north on First Avenue south at the intersection of First Street West, stopped to make a left turn west onto First Street West, \u00a0and was rear-ended by an SUV driven by 20 rear old\u00a0Nathan Ahner.<\/p>\n
Following the crash the SUV continued northbound, across the railroad, tracks, where it struck a light pole, along with the quiet zone pedestrian crossing maze, damaging it as well.<\/p>\n
The pickup was pushed to the west onto the 100 block of First Street.<\/p>\n
The occupants refused medical treatment by Jamestown Ambulance Service first responders.<\/p>\n
First Street West between First Avenue South and Second Avenue South, was blocked and police detoured traffic at the scene.<\/p>\n
Ahner, was cited for driving under suspension, care required and distracted driving, after saying\u00a0his eyes left the street when he looked for an item that\u00a0had fallen\u00a0to the floor.<\/p>\n
