The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will
\ncombine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
\npossible. Drink plenty of fluids…stay in an air-conditioned
\nroom…stay out of the sun…and check up on the elderly. Don`t
\nforget about the pets.<\/p>\n

Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
\nHeat stroke is an emergency…if you think someone is suffering
\nfrom it, call 9 1 1.<\/p>\n

.SATURDAY NIGHT\u2026Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly<\/p>\n

cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms<\/p>\n

after midnight, in the Jamestown area, 60 percent in the Valley City area. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Lows in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.<\/p>\n

.SUNDAY\u2026Mostly sunny. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning in the Jamestown area, 50 percent in the Valley City area. Highs in the upper 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Hot and humid conditions are expected on Saturday, especially<\/p>\n

across southwest and much of central North Dakota. Dangerous heat<\/p>\n

index values of 100 to 105 degrees are possible. Remember the heat<\/p>\n

index is how warm it may feel factoring in the humidity.<\/p>\n

Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening and night along<\/p>\n

a cold front across southwest and central North Dakota. Large hail<\/p>\n

to around 2 inches in diameter, damaging winds to 75 mph, locally<\/p>\n

heavy rainfall, and dangerous lightning are the primary threats.<\/p>\n

The very warm temperatures, or capping, on Saturday lead to<\/p>\n

uncertainty on when storms may form and how numerous they may<\/p>\n

become.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dangerous heat is possible again on Tuesday, especially across<\/p>\n

western North Dakota. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms<\/p>\n

Tuesday evening and night west and central. This will have to be<\/p>\n

monitored for a severe thunderstorm threat.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jamestown (KVLY) The Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office is searching for a pickup truck, in connection with a missing baby.<\/p>\n

KVLY reports that Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser, says, a mom and her child were last seen in the Jamestown area about four days ago.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"Valley News Live confirmed that on Friday the mother was located but that her child, along with a truck believed to be related in the case, have not yet been found.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Kaiser says it is unknown how long the child has been without its mother.<\/p>\n

The mother is currently in custody of the Carrington Police Department for unknown reasons. Family members are currently searching for a truck related in the case in Stutsman County.<\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Jamestown City Fire Department was called out about 11:22 p.m. Thursday to a house fire in the 1100 block of 7th<\/sup> Avenue Southeast.<\/p>\n

Fire was coming through the roof of the home when the fire units arrived.<\/p>\n
