The suspect fled in their vehicle and lead law enforcement on a chase that covered approximately thirty miles. The pursuit came to an end seven miles north of Ft. Ransom when the suspect attempted to further elude law enforcement by driving through a soybean field and their vehicle became disabled. The driver was then taken into custody without incident and transported to the Barnes County Jail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nicholas Hanson, of Lisbon ND, is the suspect in this incident and was charged with; fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an imitation controlled substance with intent to deliver (C Felony).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lisbon\u00a0 (NDHP)\u00a0\u2013 On Friday August 24th at approximately 11:50pm a North Dakota Highway\u00a0Patrol Trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle for an equipment violation near Lisbon.
