\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (JPD)\u00a0 Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger Thursday afternoon reported that,\u00a0a suspect has been identified and is being sought in the armed robbery at the Superpumper truck stop in Jamestown.\u00a0 34 year old Travis James Allcock\u00a0 of Valley City has been identified as a suspect through multiple investigative sources.<\/p>\n

Allcock is approximately 5\u203310\u2033 tall and weighs approximately 200
\nlbs.\u00a0\u00a0 He may be driving a blue 1993 Toyota Camry with ND license plate
\n518BVX.<\/p>\n

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.\u00a0 Do not approach Allcock as he is considered armed and dangerous.\u00a0 If you know of Allcock\u2019s<\/strong>
\nwhereabouts, notify law enforcement immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bismarck\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0 The North Dakota State Health Department reports that, a\u00a0Burleigh County resident initially thought to have measles has now tested negative for the disease.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ran a subsequent test on the sample, per protocol.<\/div>\n

The news release says, he public was notified on Wednesday about a reported measles case, which would have been North Dakota\u2019s first case in seven years. Any children or employees who were excluded from school or other activities may return.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It went on to say,\u201cMeasles is one of the most contagious diseases in the world,\u201d said Molly Howell, immunization program manager for the NDDoH. \u201cWe acted quickly and appropriately based on the testing and information that we had on hand at the time to prevent the spread of measles in the community. We appreciate the cooperation of this individual, schools and community members in response to this situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) \u2014 Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in a knife attack on a woman in Grand Forks.Authorities say the 20-year-old victim was acquainted with the man accused of attacking her at a residence Wednesday evening. Police say the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.Officials say the man could be charged with terrorizing, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.<\/article>\n

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 North Dakota regulators have approved the conversion of a crude oil pipeline to transport natural gas liquids from the heart of the state’s oil patch.<\/p>\n

The Bismarck Tribune reports<\/a> the three-member Public Service Commission on Wednesday gave unanimous approval to Andeavor Logistics to convert 42 miles of the BakkenLink pipeline, which was originally approved in 2012 to transport crude oil.<\/p>\n

Andeavor previously received permission from the PSC to construct about 44 miles of new natural gas liquids pipelines in McKenzie, Billings and Stark counties that are associated with the converted pipeline.<\/p>\n

The pipeline system will transport mixed natural gas liquids from the Watford City area to an Andeavor gas processing plant near Belfield, where the liquids will be separated into products such as ethane, propane, butane and natural gasoline.<\/p>\n

\"\"Madison, SD\u00a0 PlayNorthStar.com reports, \u00a0the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced its first edition of the Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Golfers-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Wednesday. Jared Lentz of Valley City State (N.D.) was selected as Men\u2019s Golfer-of-the-Week, while Bailey Schmidt of Viterbo (Wis.) was named to Women\u2019s Golfer-of-the-Week.<\/p>\n

Jared Lentz a \u00a0Senior \u00a0from Valley City<\/strong> shot a career-best round of 4-under par (68) as he won the University of Jamestown (N.D.) Invitational. Lentz\u2019s 68 led the Vikings to the team title as they finished with a 2-under par total of 286. Both Lentz\u2019s individual score and the team score are the best rounds for VCSU since the golf programs were reinstated in 2009.<\/p>\n

NEW YORK (AP) \u2014 Burt Reynolds, whose credits included acclaimed films such as “Deliverance” and commercial hits like “Smokey and the Bandit,” has died.The handsome film and television star died at age 82, according to his agent Todd Eisner. No other details were immediately available Thursday.<\/p>\n

During a long, erratic career, Reynolds starred in the Oscar-winning film “Deliverance” in 1972 and the Oscar-nominated “Boogie Nights” in 1997. He also fronted such commercial favorites as “Smokey and the Bandit.” And he had a hit TV show in the 1990s with “Evening Shade.”<\/p>\n

But he also had more than his share of flops and tabloid moments, including an acrimonious divorce from former TV star Loni Anderson and a nearly nude centerfold in Cosmopolitan magazine.<\/p>\n

CINCINNATI (AP) \u2014 A woman who works in a Cincinnati building where a gunman opened fire says her co-worker was on an elevator when the doors opened and she nearly stepped on a man’s body. Jessica Hanson says her co-worker was in shock and that’s when people in her office found what had happened Thursday morning. Police say four people, including the gunman, died in the shooting that started in a loading dock and spilled into the lobby at the Fifth Third Bank headquarters.<\/article>\n

WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014 The Justice Department has charged a computer programmer working on behalf of the North Korean government with the hack of Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2014, along with the massive Wannacry ransomware attack last year and an $81 million theft from a bank in Bangladesh. The department identifies the programmer as Park Jin Hyok. Assistant Attorney General John Demers says it was one of the most complex cybercriminal investigations conducted by the department.<\/article>\n

WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014 The Trump administration says it is abandoning a court settlement that limits how long immigrant children can be kept locked up. Instead, it is proposing new regulations that would let the government detain families until their immigration cases are decided. Homeland Security Department officials say that abandoning the so-called Flores agreement of 1997 will speed up the handling of immigration cases while also deterring people from illegally crossing the border.<\/article>\n

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) \u2014 South Korean President Moon Jae-in says he has high expectations for his third summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Sept. 18-20. Moon’s comments on Thursday came after his presidential delegation met Kim in Pyongyang and returned home with a fixed date for the summit and comments by Kim reaffirming his desire for a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula.<\/article>\n
