Poll &#8211; Pixs &#8211; Video<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">The committee agreed to move the acceptance to the October Finance and Legal Committee meeting for further discussion and recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<center><!-- Begin Poll Code --><STYLE>.ivanC15373644413098{position:absolute;visibility:hidden;}<\/STYLE><DIV CLASS=ivanC15373644413098 ID=ivanI15373644413098><A HREF=http:\/\/freepolls.com CLASS=ivanL_FP TARGET=_blank>Free Web poll for your Web site &#8211; freepolls.com<\/A><\/DIV><SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JavaScript SRC='http:\/\/jamestownusa.freepolls.com\/cgi-bin\/polls\/020\/poll.js?id=ivanI15373644413098'><\/SCRIPT><!-- End Poll Code--><\/center><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Discussed was revising license fees for radio antennas on City-owned, or maintained, or operated water towers. \u00a0City Attorney Leo Ryan said the average license agreement with other cities in North Dakota area between $1,000 and $2,400 per year.<\/p>\n<p>Council Member Brubakken moved for a yearly license fee of $1,500, with an escalator clause, effective January 1, 2019, on a calendar year basis, and approved on a case by case basis as suggested by Ryan.<\/p>\n<p>The committee recommended approving the motion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Considered the recommended JSDC support to fund the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) position and release the 63% city share of budgeted 2018 South Central Dakota Regional Council dues in the remaining amount of $16,141. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">The committee recommends to approve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The committee considered the request to approve financial support for the Jamestown Regional Airport Authority in the form of a commitment to a bond issuance and a general tax levy in 2019 to assist in financing the Runway and Taxiway Resurfacing Project.<\/p>\n<p>Airport Director Sam Seafeldt said some project dollars are covered by federal grants.<\/p>\n<p>The committee recommends the request move to the City Council without recommendation subject to additional documents to be reviewed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>Tuesday, the Stutsman County Commission unanimously approved loan criteria from the state of North Dakota regarding a runway and taxiway project at Jamestown Regional Airport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"p402_premium\">\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>The loan was the airport authority portion of the $2.5 million project with the remainder from the Federal Aviation Administration and the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"Default\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">BUILDING, PLANNING &amp; ZONING COMMITTEE <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">The committee recommends <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">approval of the plat of First Community Addition, Lot 1, Block 1, a replat of Lots 1-6 and a vacated portion of the alley of Block 2, Curtin\u2019s Second Addition, within the SW \u00bc of Section 36, T140, R64W, Midway Township, Stutsman County, ND. The property is located at 1021 3<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 8.0pt;\">rd <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Ave SE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">Approved was<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\"> introducing the first reading of an ordinance to amend and re-enact Ordinance No. 329 of the City Code by amending the District Map to change the zoning of Jamestown Original, Block 31, E100\u2019 of Lot 16 &amp; 17, and E100\u2019 of S20\u2019 of Lot 18, from M-1 (Limited Industrial and Manufacturing District) to C-1 (Local Commercial District).
