Jamestown, ND\u00a0 (KCSi-T.V News)\u00a0 —\u00a0 The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports, that a single-vehicle rollover accident Sunday (Mar 24, 2013), about 6:15 p.m., \u00a0on Interstate 94 east of Jamestown, caused\u00a0about $10,000 in damages to a vehicle.\u00a0\u00a0The accident happened at 6:15 p.m. near mile marker 266 on I-94.<\/p>\n

16 year old Sterling J. Richard,of Bismarck, was driving a 2001 Ford westbound on I-94 with a passenger 13 year olf Monica Richard, also of Bismarck. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Richard lost control of the\u00a0car on an icy patch, and the vehicle rolled into the median, flipped over and came to rest on its top in the eastbound lanes.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Both occupants were wearing\u00a0 seat belts.<\/p>\n

No citations were issued.<\/p>\n

I94 between Valley City and Jamestown\u00a0was slippery in spots in the north lanes due to snow drifting across\u00a0and sticking to the surface.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Some places had snow sticking to both\u00a0lanes.\u00a0\u00a0 Motorists are cautioned to slow down and not use cruise control.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Stutsman County Sheriff Department was at an accident in the eastbound lane of I94 after 5pm Sunday March 24, just east of mile marker 266,\u00a0 six miles east of Jamestown.<\/p>\n

A pickup truck was on its top in the passing lane of eastbound I94\u00a0and another vehicle was in the median.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Law enforcement and ambulance personnel were on the scene.\u00a0\u00a0No other information was immediately available.<\/p>\n
