(AP) \u2014 North Dakota&#8217;s Game and Fish Department is asking hunters to help out again this fall with the agency&#8217;s surveillance program for chronic wasting disease and bovine tuberculosis.<\/p>\n<p>The Hunter-Harvested Surveillance Program this year is accepting deer heads for testing from 17 western North Dakota hunting units.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, all moose and elk killed in the state are eligible for testing.<\/p>\n<p>CWD affects the nervous system of members of the deer family and is always fatal.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
