The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) invites those who have lost loved ones in a motor vehicle crash to remember and honor them on World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday, November 18.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakotan&#8217;s can safely honor loved ones on the award-winning, virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/visionzero.nd.gov\/memorial\/\">Crash Memorial Wall,<\/a> which was built on the hope of preventing another death on North Dakota roads. Launched in 2015, the virtual wall contains 17 memorials that have been created by victim(s) families.<\/p>\n<p>One memorial is for Kyle Nelson of Lidgerwood, ND, who passed away in a motor vehicle rollover crash four years ago today, November 13. He was not wearing his seat belt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NelsonKyle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-157995\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NelsonKyle-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NelsonKyle-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NelsonKyle-260x175.jpg 260w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/NelsonKyle.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\u201cKyle&#8217;s choice not to buckle up affected our family forever. Forever. No parent ever wants to bury their child,\u201d said Kyle\u2019s mom, Yvonne Nelson of Lidgerwood, ND. \u201cIt just truly goes to show that whether you&#8217;re going two blocks, two miles or 200 miles you need to buckle up. I don&#8217;t care if you&#8217;re going down to get a gallon of milk at the store, you need to buckle up.
