{"id":160159,"date":"2018-12-26T07:41:27","date_gmt":"2018-12-26T13:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=160159"},"modified":"2018-12-26T11:46:42","modified_gmt":"2018-12-26T17:46:42","slug":"law-enforcement-sobriety-checkpoint-stutsman-dec-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=160159","title":{"rendered":"Law enforcement, sobriety checkpoint Stutsman, Barnes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-13707 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/NDHPpatch-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Jamestown\u00a0 (NDHP) To increase public awareness of impaired driving &amp; related motor vehicle crashes, \u00a0and to deter citizens from choosing to drive impaired, the ND Highway Patrol, Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Department, and Jamestown Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, Dec. 29 at a predetermined location in Stutsman County.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction to the sobriety checkpoint, saturation patrols will be conducted on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29 in Stutsman and Barnes Counties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The primary purpose of a checkpoint and saturation is to deter drinking and driving. This year, approximately 33 percent of fatal crashes have been alcohol-related.
