Both performances are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The program includes \u201cFinale\u201d from Brahms\u2019 \u201cSymphony No. 1 in C minor,\u201d \u201cGrenada\u201d from Albeniz\u2019 \u201cSuite Espagnole,\u201d \u201cSound of Music Suite\u201d by Richard Rodgers, \u201cWaltz No. 2\u201d from \u201cSuite for Variety Orchestra\u201d by Dmitri Shostakovich, and \u201cMusic from The Gladiator\u201d by Hans Zimmer.<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble performs under the direction of Dr. James Adams, Director of the Valley City Civic Orchestra; Benjamin Schneider, Director of Bands and Orchestra at Jamestown College; and Kirci Wagner, Valley City State University student conductor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Jamestown College Department of Music and the Valley City Civic Orchestra will present a Joint Chamber Orchestra concert in both Jamestown and Valley City.
