A\u00a0 significant clipper system moves through the state Sunday
\nand Sunday night, bringing the potential for several inches of
\nsnow across parts of northwestern and much of central North
\nDakota.<\/p>\n
Strong northwest winds will develop Sunday afternoon and
\ncontinue Sunday night into Monday, with the strongest winds more
\nlikely over southwestern North Dakota.<\/p>\n
Areas of blowing and drifting snow may create hazardous travel across all of western and central North Dakota.<\/p>\n
Those traveling across the state this weekend into Monday should
\nmonitor the latest weather and road conditions, and stay tuned to
\nthe latest forecasts regarding this potentially dangerous winter

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown city crews will begin the full snow plowing program starting with the Emergency routes beginning approximately at 5:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2019.<\/p>\n
City crews will begin plowing residential areas at 11:00 a.m., Monday, \u00a0January 28, 2019.\u00a0 Crews will continue work during the night with the downtown district beginning at 11:00 pm,<\/p>\n
Downtown merchants and all public\/private schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled by 9 p.m., <\/u>Monday, January 28, 2019.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (JPD) \u2013 \u00a0\u00a0 Jamestown Police Lt. Nick Hardy says\u00a0 the dangerous pit bull, \u201d\u00a0Blaze,\u201d\u00a0 was captured after\u00a0 biting a fifth person in Jamestown late Friday evening.<\/p>\n
An individual \u00a0was able to detain the\u00a0dog in a garage and turn it over to officers and animal control.<\/p>\n
About the same, time during an unrelated call for service, the owner of the\u00a0dog was summoned to court for numerous animal violations, \u00a0and for\u00a0conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.<\/p>\n
No further information will be released by police, until formal charges are filed.<\/p>\n
On Friday,\u00a0\u00a0the Jamestown Police Department asked\u00a0for the public\u2019s help in locating \u201ca dangerous red\/brown 70-90\u00a0pound Pitbull with a white chest and feet.\u201d<\/p>\n
At that time, the dog was last seen in the area of the Buffalo Motel in Jamestown around 2:00pm. Friday.<\/p>\n
The police department had information that this animal has bitten at least three people in the last ten days, and four since September of 2018.<\/p>\n
At last report, the most serious bite occurred Friday\u00a0January 25\u00a0at approximately 2:00pm \u00a0at the Buffalo Motel.<\/p>\n
That victim was treated for serious injuries at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n
On Friday police asked anyone with information on the whereabouts of this animal or sees this animal on the loose, to contact police, and not to\u00a0\u00a0 approach or attempt to apprehend the animal.<\/p>\n

The Jamestown Boys\u2019 Choir, Directed by Meredith Meidinger, joins the Choralaires, performing \u201cHe\u2019s Got the Whole World in His Hands\u201d and \u201cDona Nobis Pacem.\u201d<\/p>\n The Choralaires, directed by Pam Burkhardt, will be \u00a0accompanied by Richard Walentine, and are the only North Dakota member chorus of the Associated Male Choruses of America, the group hosted Big Sings in 2016, 2012, 2004, and 1997.\u00a0 Roger said there will not be a Big Sing held this year.<\/p>\n Roger pointed out that the January concert is dedicated to Larry Hoffman, in his 60th year as a baritone with the Choralaires.
