* WHAT…Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Blowing snow
\nongoing. Wind chills as low as 45 below zero expected. Winds
\ngusting as high as 35 mph this afternoon.<\/p>\n

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Widespread blowing snow could
\nsignificantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
\ncould impact the morning or evening commute. The dangerously
\ncold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as
\nlittle as 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…<\/p>\n

A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and
\nthe wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite
\ncan occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions

Bismarck\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 On Thursday the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have CLOSED<\/strong> I-29 northbound and southbound lanes from Fargo to the South Dakota border due to heavy snow and blowing snow creating near zero visibility and dangerous driving conditions. Road Closed <\/strong>means motorists are not allowed to travel on a closed road due to life threatening conditions. The road may be impassible or blocked. Motorists who drive past a road closure device may be fined up to $250.<\/p>\n
