News) &#8212; The Buffalo City Tourism Foundation Board has approved funding arrangements with the city of Jamestown and the Jamestown\/ Stutsman Development Corp.<\/p>\n<p>Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund says under the four year agreement approved by the City Council, Tourism receives $299,320 this year for the foundation\u2019s enterprise plan. The Foundation will receive between $290,320 to $323,320 for 2014 depending on the amount requested in its enterprise plan for 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The City Council will determine the amount of funding the foundation receives for 2015 and 2016 at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Jamestown levies a 2 percent tax on lodging and a 1 percent tax on restaurants, which is then sent to the city from the state, and used for tourism promotion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
