(AP) \u2014 Grand Forks police are investigating a stabbing at an apartment complex.Authorities say they were called to the complex Tuesday morning for a physical altercation between a man and woman. Arriving officers found the 29-year-old woman had been stabbed and that a 36-year-old man was likely responsible.The woman was taken to Altru Hospital. The extent of her injuries was not disclosed. The man was arrested for aggravated assault as well as an outstanding warrant for simple assault.Police say there is no general threat to the public.\u00a0<\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article>\n<article id=\"story_content\" class=\"ng-binding\">BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 The opening of North Dakota&#8217;s first medical marijuana dispensary has been delayed a day.Acreage Holdings was to open The Botanist in Fargo Thursday. The Health Department says it&#8217;s been changed to Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Medical Marijuana Division Director Jason Wahl says the facility didn&#8217;t pass final city inspection until Wednesday, and it still needs to undergo the final stages of a state inspection Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Botanist will sell medical marijuana produced by a Bismarck manufacturing facility. Wahl says that initially it will have dried leaves and flowers and two types of concentrates. Those are two of six forms allowed under state law. The dispensary will add more forms later.<\/p>\n<p>Voters approved medical marijuana in November 2016. The state hopes to have dispensaries operating in North Dakota&#8217;s eight major cities by fall.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article id=\"story_content\" class=\"ng-binding\">BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2014 North Dakota&#8217;s Republican-led House has passed a resolution urging Congress to follow the state&#8217;s lead and ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.Representatives passed the resolution 77-11 on Wednesday.North Dakota passed a law in 2013 that outlaws abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, based on the disputed premise that a fetus can feel pain by then.The Red River Clinic in Fargo is the state&#8217;s sole abortion clinic. Officials at the clinic say the ban is unconstitutional but it does not apply to North Dakota because no abortions are performed at the clinic after 16 weeks.<\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article><\/article>\n<article id=\"story_content\" class=\"ng-binding\">BISMARCK, N.D. He also passed 1000 career points at UJ and recorded one of just seven 600+ point seasons in the history of Jimmie basketball.<\/p>\n<p>Purintun led the Jimmies with 19.6 points per game and broke the single-game scoring record with 45 against Valley City State (N.D.) on December 15. He currently ranks ninth on the all-time Jimmie scoring list with 1504 points, and joined Oberweiser with one of only seven 600+ point seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Alfred averaged 11.4 points per game while making 82 three-pointers. He shot 45.9 percent from the floor and his 33 steals are third on the team.<\/p>\n<p>Talley averaged 9.3 points and a team-high 6.2 rebounds per game. The service says drifting snow was creating problems in an area spanning the central Columbia Basin, the western suburbs of Spokane and farming areas south of Spokane.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ISLAMABAD (AP) \u2014 Pakistan&#8217;s military says it shot down two Indian warplanes in the disputed region of Kashmir and captured a pilot, answering an airstrike a day earlier by Indian aircraft inside Pakistan and raising tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals to a level unseen in the last two decades.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p>(AP) As Walmart moves to phase out its familiar blue-vested \u201cgreeters\u201d at some 1,000 stores nationwide, disabled workers who fill many of those jobs say they\u2019re being ill-treated by a chain that styles itself as community-minded and inclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Walmart told greeters around the country last week that their positions would be eliminated on April 26 in favor of an expanded, more physically demanding \u201ccustomer host\u201d role. To qualify, they will need to be able to lift 25-pound (11-kilogram) packages, climb ladders and stand for long periods.<\/p>\n<p>That came as a heavy blow to greeters with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other physical disabilities.
