(AP) \u2014 Open burning is once again being banned in a heavily wooded recreation area along the Missouri River south of Bismarck-Mandan.<\/p>\n<p>The Oahe (oh-AW&#8217;-hee) Wildlife Management Area is prone to wildfires when it&#8217;s dry and before the spring green-up. Early spring burning bans aren&#8217;t unusual.<\/p>\n<p>The state Game and Fish Department says the ban includes campfires. The use of portable propane grills is allowed, but people are asked to use extreme caution.<\/p>\n<p>The wildlife management area covers 25 square miles in portions of Morton, Burleigh and Emmons counties.
