News) \u2014 Jamestown Police is warning residents that a convicted sex offender, has changed his address.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Scott Lundgren now lives at 2209 Cottage Lane in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He has no vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Lundgren is a 33 year old white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 206 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.<\/p>\n<p>Lundgren has been assigned a High Risk Assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Lundgren, who was 19 years old at the time, was convicted on October 27,1998 in Burleigh County District Court of Gross Sexual Imposition involving a six year old girl.<\/p>\n<p>His disposition was 10 years, with 6 years suspended, for 6 years.<\/p>\n<p>Lundgren is not wanted by police at this time, and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n<p>This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor, should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n<p>Attempts to harass, intimidate, or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers, will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>Printed handouts of Lundgren\u2019s photo and demographics are available at the Jamestown Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>More information on registered offenders is available on the Attorney General\u2019s web site: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexoffender.nd.gov\">www.sexoffender.nd.gov<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The U.S. Marshals Service says no foul play is suspected in the death of a deputy marshal who was found dead in his vehicle in a Grand Forks parking lot.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Police Chief John Packett identified the man as 46-year-old Robert Wood. He was found dead in a residential neighborhood Wednesday morning.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 U.S. Marshal Paul Ward says an autopsy is planned but results aren&#8217;t likely to be released for weeks.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Grand Forks Herald reports that Wood served in the Air Force before joining the Marshals Service. He was transferred from Washington, D.C., to Grand Forks in 1994.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The Democratic candidate for North Dakota&#8217;s Public Service Commission says two Republican commissioners have been &#8220;flouting the spirit&#8221; of the state&#8217;s anti-bribery law.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Brad Crabtree says Republican commissioners Brian Kalk and Kevin Cramer have taken campaign contributions from companies they regulate.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Crabtree says the money came in when Kalk and Cramer made decisions favoring the companies.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kalk says his campaign donations are legal and Crabtree&#8217;s bribery allegations are &#8220;ridiculous.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cramer says Crabtree won&#8217;t file a bribery complaint himself because he knows there&#8217;s nothing to it.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At a Thursday news conference in Bismarck, Crabtree says public service commissioners should have to separately disclose any donations they get from companies they regulate.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Crabtree says the commissioners should excuse themselves from making decisions on companies that are campaign supporters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Backers of a complete smoking ban in bars<br \/>\nand other North Dakota workplaces say they have enough petition<br \/>\nsignatures to put the issue to a vote.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The anti-smoking initiative is one of six measures that could be<br \/>\non the November ballot this fall. If it qualifies, it will be<br \/>\nlisted as Measure 3.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supporters of the smoking ban turned in more than 21,000<br \/>\nsignatures to Secretary of State Al Jaeger&#8217;s office Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>They need only about 13,500 names to get on the ballot.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 West Fargo respiratory therapist Chelsey Matter is the<br \/>\ncampaign&#8217;s chairwoman.<\/p>\n<p>She says volunteers gathered names in every<br \/>\ncounty, and there appears to be widespread support for the<br \/>\nworkplace smoking ban.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota already prohibits smoking in most enclosed public<br \/>\nplaces, but the proposed new law is tougher.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The Three Affiliated Tribes wants to offer<br \/>\nriverboat gambling on Lake Sakakawea.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The North Dakota tribe&#8217;s gambling compact with the state expires<br \/>\nat the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Tribal Chairman Tex Hall wants riverboat gambling added to the next compact. He says it could be another opportunity for the tribally owned 4 Bears Casino west of New Town.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An attorney for Gov. Jack Dalrymple says the Spirit Lake<br \/>\nNation&#8217;s gambling compact allows that tribe to conduct gambling on<br \/>\nDevils Lake, though the tribe hasn&#8217;t done it yet.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A draft of a new compact for the Three Affiliated Tribes would<br \/>\nallow riverboat gambling within the boundaries of the Fort Berthold<br \/>\nReservation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The starting running back for North Dakota<br \/>\nState University is requesting jury trials in state district court<br \/>\non two charges of driving with a suspended license.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Forum newspaper reports that Sam Ojuri was stopped by police<br \/>\non June 5 and July 14. Both of the charges against him are<br \/>\nmisdemeanors punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ojuri has run into trouble in the past. The junior from<br \/>\nBarrington, Ill., pleaded guilty in January to an alcohol offense<br \/>\nand was fined $100.<\/p>\n<p>He was suspended from the team in spring 2010<br \/>\nfor an undisclosed violation of team rules and reinstated in<br \/>\nJanuary 2011.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 NDSU is the defending NCAA Football Championship Subdivision<br \/>\nchampion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In sports&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0FARGO, N.D.
