{"id":171751,"date":"2019-05-10T11:50:50","date_gmt":"2019-05-10T16:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=171751"},"modified":"2019-05-10T15:27:02","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T20:27:02","slug":"valley-city-and-police-officers-served-with-complaint-suit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=171751","title":{"rendered":"Valley City and police officers served with complaint, suit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 The City of Valley City and two police officers have been served with notice of a lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inforum.com\/news\/crime-and-courts\/1020229-Valley-City-to-vigorously-defend-itself-in-lawsuit-over-death-of-DUI-suspect\">WDAY<\/a> reports, the suit and complaint were filed in U.S. District Court, on May 3, 2019 by \u00a0the Aaland Law Firm.\u00a0 City Attorney Carl Martineck says\u00a0Valley City Police Officers Christopher Olson and Wade Hannig, along with the City of Valley City were served.<\/p>\n<p>He says the city and police\u00a0 officers intend to defend the suit&#8217;s allegations, vigorously .<\/p>\n<p>Each, is entitled to have all of the facts surrounding the <a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=171302\">arrest of Warren Lindvold\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/a>July 15, 2018 heard, and to defend the professionalism of these police officers.<\/p>\n<p>Martineck\u00a0 says,\u00a0in accordance with the City\u2019s agreement with the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund, outside counsel has been appointed to defend the City and\u00a0the officers\u00a0this action.<\/p>\n<p>Any further inquiries can be directed to the appointed attorney representing the city through the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 The City of Valley City and two police officers have been served with notice of a lawsuit.
