Major NDDOT reconstruction and rehabilitation work occurring this year include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I-94 rehabilitation from Mandan west to ND 25<\/li>\n<li>I-94 reconstruction west of Valley City<\/li>\n<li>I-94 reconstruction east of Hebron<\/li>\n<li>I-29 reconstruction between Fargo and Wahpeton<\/li>\n<li>US 2 reconstruction and rehabilitation through the city of Devils Lake<\/li>\n<li>US 83 Bypass construction near Minot<\/li>\n<li>Demers Ave reconstruction in Grand Forks<\/li>\n<li>Main Ave reconstruction in Fargo<\/li>\n<li>Sheyenne St reconstruction in West Fargo<\/li>\n<li>Completion of New Town Northwest Truck Reliever Route<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valley City District:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stutsman, Barnes,<\/strong> Logan, Lamoure, McIntosh, Dickey, Kidder, Foster, Steele and Ransom counties. Major projects include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asphalt overlay on ND 13 from Lehr to E Jct ND 56<\/li>\n<li>Minor rehabilitation in Valley City Central Ave from Main to 12<sup>th<\/sup> St<\/li>\n<li>Milling and overlay of US 281 from South Dakota state line to the township line<\/li>\n<li>Milling and overlay of US 281 from Edgeley north to Jct ND 46<\/li>\n<li>Milling and overlay of I-94 from east Dawson Interchange to Crystal Springs<\/li>\n<li>Reconstruction of I-94 from west Eckelson to east of ND 1 Oakes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>NDDOT reminds motorists that slowing down and driving distraction free are some of the easiest things motorists can do behind the wheel during this busy travel season. Other tips for motorists are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow signage and be aware that traffic configurations often change in work\u00a0 zones.<\/li>\n<li>Be patient. Work zones aren\u2019t present to inconvenience drivers, they\u2019re an important part in maintaining and rebuilding our state\u2019s infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay alert.
