I love our staff and I love Nebraska. The bottom line is I do not want to miss seeing our kids grow up. I want to thank our administration and academic staff for all of their support over the last eight years. GBR forever.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Erstad is a well known Jamestown native and graduate of Jamestown High School.\u00a0 Darin is a former\u00a0professional baseball\u00a0player. He played with the\u00a0Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim franchise (1996-2006) before signing with the\u00a0Chicago White Sox\u00a0in 2007.\u00a0 \u00a0He was a two-time MLB\u00a0All-Star\u00a0and a three-time\u00a0Gold Glove<a title=\"Rawlings Gold Glove Award\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rawlings_Gold_Glove_Award\"> Award<\/a>\u00a0winner.<\/p>\n<p>Erstad&#8217;s record at Nebraska was 267-193-1.
