News Apr 24, 2013) &#8212; A Rogers, North Dakota man was sentenced in Southeast District Court in Jamestown, to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing 12 pounds of marijuana near a Jamestown school and tampering with witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>Judge John Greenwood sentenced 51 year old Charles Rodney Kettle, to six years in the North Dakota Department of Corrections on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school.<\/p>\n<p>He will receive 50 days credit for time served.<\/p>\n<p>Kettle was arrested on March 5<sup>th<\/sup>, and accused of acquiring 12 pounds of marijuana in California and transporting it to North Dakota to sell.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwood also sentenced Kettle to serve two years in prison, consecutively, with a tampering with witnesses charge.<\/p>\n<p>He will serve five years of supervised probation concurrently on both charges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
