{"id":176210,"date":"2019-07-23T09:50:21","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T14:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=176210"},"modified":"2019-07-26T07:20:48","modified_gmt":"2019-07-26T12:20:48","slug":"city-commission-discusses-liquor-license-fees-penalties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=176210","title":{"rendered":"City Commission discusses liquor license fees &#038; penalties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 Tuesday morning the Valley City Commission met in Special Session at City Hall.\u00a0 All members were present.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ORDINANCE <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The City Commission heard second and final reading of an Ordinance to Amend and Reenact portion of Title 4 (Alcoholic Beverages) of the Valley City Municipal Code.\u00a0 City Attorney Martineck, said the Ordinance now pertains to Brewery Tap Rooms licenses, and certification, upon applications and renewals.\u00a0 It also allows spot checks, of liquor establishments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESOLUTION <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>City Commissioners\u00a0 took no action concerning\u00a0 a Resolution Amending the Master Fee Schedule. Discussion \u00a0included the City Commission approving a late fee for late liquor license applications, in the amount of $250 and a fee of $100 per day each additional business day in violation, and then the establishment may request a hearing.\u00a0 Also discussed was a $500 license fee for a brewer tap room license.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was shown on CSi Cable 68, followed by replays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 Tuesday morning the Valley City Commission met in Special Session at City Hall.\u00a0 All members were present.
