ELKHORN, Neb.–\u00a0 (uj.edu<\/a>)\u00a0 <\/strong>The University of Jamestown men’s golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the Great Plains Athletic Championship Fall Qualifier, being held at Indian Creek Golf Course.<\/p>\n Jamestown’s first round score of 312 is five shots behind fourth-place Doane (Neb.) and 20 shots off of first place Morningside (Iowa) College.<\/p>\n Tate Olson<\/a> (SO\/Cook, Minn.) turned in UJ’s top score Friday, finishing at 2-over 74, which is tied for fourth place.<\/p>\n Austin Rene<\/a> (SR\/Jamestown, N.D.) (5-over 77) is tied for 11th, Treyton Forsman<\/a> (SO\/Lewiston, Idaho) (8-over 80) is tied for 20th, Jackson Worner<\/a> (FR\/West Fargo, N.D.) (9-over 81) is 29th, and Hudson Roling<\/a> (SO\/Thermopolis, Wyo.) (11-over 83) is tied for 33rd.<\/p>\n The second round begins Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with players teeing off every eight minutes<\/p>\n 1. Morningside College 292 +4; 2.
