{"id":183794,"date":"2019-10-30T06:00:29","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T11:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=183794"},"modified":"2019-10-30T07:59:34","modified_gmt":"2019-10-30T12:59:34","slug":"township-road-damage-assessment-due-nov-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=183794","title":{"rendered":"Township road damage assessment due Nov 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(CSi)\u00a0 Stutsman County townships should perform a roads damage assessment for their area\u00a0 by November 8th.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Commission Chairman Mark Klose says officials were up against a deadline and needed the townships to assist with the assessments, adding that the possible financial assistance through FEMA will benefit the county.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry \u00a0Bergquist says it\u2019ll be important for townships and the county to document what roads will need to be addressed if a Presidential Disaster Declaration is issued.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Auditor &amp; COO Nicole Meland says the county had contracted with Interstate Engineering to conduct the assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Townships are not required to contact Interstate Engineering but may contact any engineering firm with the information needing to be submitted to the county before November 8, with the assessments of county roads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(CSi)\u00a0 Stutsman County townships should perform a roads damage assessment for their area\u00a0 by November 8th.
