BOULDER, Colo.\u00a0 (uj.edu<\/a>) —\u00a0<\/strong>The ninth-ranked University of Jamestown defeated University of Colorado 4-3 in a shootout Friday night, extending its winning streak to 10 games.<\/p>\n The Jimmies won the shootout 4-3 as Aidan Potas<\/a> (FR\/Fargo, N.D.), Allan Pruss<\/a> (SR\/Red Deer, Alberta), Dylan Haney<\/a> (JR\/Brandon, Manitoba), and Jeremy McNeil<\/a> (SR\/Calgary, Alberta) all converted their chances.<\/p>\n Jamestown trailed 2-0 after two periods despite outshooting the Buffaloes 26-13 through the first 20 minutes.<\/p>\n Michael Pruss<\/a> (SR\/Red Deer, Alberta) put the Jimmies on the board at 4:37 of the third period with assists by Haney and Jordan Popoff<\/a> (FR\/Calgary, Alberta). Trevor Okino<\/a> (SR\/Richmond, British Columbia) added a power play goal from McNeil and Potas at 6:52 to tie the game at 2, then Allan Pruss<\/a> gave UJ its first lead of the night with a goal from Michael Pruss<\/a> and Ned Simpson<\/a> (SR\/Kitchener, Ontario) at 8:33.<\/p>\n The Jimmies lead lasted just over three minutes as Colorado drew level at 11:37 of the third period.<\/p>\n UJ outshot Colorado 4-2 in overtime and ended the game with a 42-22 shot advantage.<\/p>\n
