(KCSi-T.V. News May 10, 2013) &#8211; The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports that currently releases are 100 cfs at Pipestem Reservoir and 950 cfs at Jamestown Reservoir resulting in a combined release of 1050 cfs.<\/p>\n<p>These releases will be held steady though the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next few weeks, Jamestown Reservoir releases may be adjusted up or down depending on the inflows into the reservoir and the downstream channel conditions.<\/p>\n<p>However, the combined release is expected to be no higher than 1100 cfs unless significant rainfall is received.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout May and early June, emphasis is being placed on evacuating Jamestown Reservoir flood storage.<\/p>\n<p>Pipestem Reservoir flood storage will be primarily evacuated in June, July and August.<br \/>\nRead more at &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/distribution.mymediainfo.com\/lists\/lt.php?id=fB8KA1FQClINDE8CVw1SBk9WVFQAAA8%3D\">http:\/\/www.nwo.usace.army.mil\/Media\/NewsReleases\/tabid\/1835\/Article\/13759\/jamestown-and-pipestem-reservoirs-update.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News May 9, 2013) &#8212; Jamestown Dam releases have been increased to 950 cfs.<\/p>\n<p>Pipestem Dam Manager Bob Martin says, Pipestem Dam releases remain at 100 cfs for a combined 1,050 cfs through the James Rive in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He says, Jamestown Reservoir is rising around a foot a day, as the Pipestem Reservoir rise has tapered off.<\/p>\n<p>Martin says releases are expected to remain consistent for the foreseeable future, but may need to be adjusted for any rain event that may occur.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update OMAHA, Neb.
