Jamestown\u00a0 (uj.edu<\/a>)\u00a0 Five players reached double figures in scoring as the University of Jamestown men’s basketball team cruised to an 85-54 win over Presentation (S.D.) College Tuesday night at Harold Newman Arena.<\/p>\n Devan Praska<\/a> (SO\/Thompson, ND) posted his first career double-double, scoring a season-high 14 points and grabbing a personal best 13 rebounds.<\/p>\n Marc Kjos<\/a> (FR\/Lake City, MN) added a career-high 13 points, while Brady Birch<\/a> (JR\/Melrose, MN) and Jack Talley<\/a> (JR\/Sioux Falls, SD) finished with 12 each and Brock Schrom<\/a> (JR\/Grand Rapids, MN) came off the bench to score 10.<\/p>\n The Jimmies opened up an 18-8 lead only to have the Saints storm back and get within a bucket at 19-17. Following a timeout, UJ scored the next seven points to build a nine-point lead, which eventually grew to 13 late in the half.<\/p>\n Presentation got as close as 13 points with 12:42 in the game but a 12-0 run over the next 3:59 nearly doubled the lead at 67-42.<\/p>\n UJ shot 17-of-32 in the second half while holding the Saints to 7-of-28 shooting. The Jimmies also outrebounded Presentation 31-12 in the final 20 minutes.<\/p>\n
