{"id":189122,"date":"2020-01-10T15:02:30","date_gmt":"2020-01-10T21:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=189122"},"modified":"2020-01-10T15:04:33","modified_gmt":"2020-01-10T21:04:33","slug":"woman-idd-killed-in-tues-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=189122","title":{"rendered":"Woman ID&#8217;d, killed in Thurs Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Watford City\u00a0 (NDHP)\u00a0 An Alexander, ND woman was killed, and a Williston man was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday, Jan 9, 2019 about 7-a.m., on Hwy 85 MM 157, about 12 miles west of Watford City.<\/p>\n<p>Highway Patrol Sgt Dave Kolness reports, a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, operated by\u00a0 <strong>58 year old Amelia Johnson<\/strong>, of Alexander was \u00a0traveling westbound on Hwy 85.\u00a0 A 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on Hwy 85. The Cavalier swerved into the eastbound lanes and struck the Silverado head-on. The driver of the Cavalier Amelia Johnson, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Silverado, Timothy Wolfe, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Williston.<\/p>\n<p>Hwy 85 was blocked for approximately 2 \u00bd hours.<\/p>\n<p>This crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting at the scene were:\u00a0 The McKenzie County Sheriff\u2019s Office, McKenzie County Ambulance, Alexander Fire &amp; Rescue, and McKenzie County Emergency Manager<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Watford City\u00a0 (NDHP)\u00a0 An Alexander, ND woman was killed, and a Williston man was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday, Jan 9, 2019 about 7-a.m., on Hwy 85 MM 157, about 12 miles west of Watford City.
