Tandem axle vehicles may weigh no more than 14,000 pounds per axle. Trucks with three-axle or more groups are limited to no more than 12,000 pounds per axle.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum weight allowed by any axle group is 36,000 pounds and maximum gross vehicle weight is 80,000 pounds.
