The loss gives the No. 12-ranked Jimmies a 28-8 record on the year after tonight&#8217;s final regular season contest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The Jimmies found themselves down 1-0 after the Beavers opened up the scoring at 3:56 of the first period. Fifty-five seconds later, <a id=\"rosterLink0\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" href=\"http:\/\/www.JimmieAthletics.com\/roster\/20\/33\/8954.php\">Allan Pruss<\/a> (SR\/Red Deer, Alberta) responded after he buried his own rebound which started from a passing play by <a id=\"rosterLink1\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" href=\"http:\/\/www.JimmieAthletics.com\/roster\/20\/33\/8951.php\">Cayle Bell<\/a> (SR\/Fort St. John, British Columbia) and <a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" href=\"http:\/\/www.JimmieAthletics.com\/roster\/20\/33\/8946.php\">Michael Pruss<\/a> (SR\/Red Deer, Alberta). It was Pruss&#8217; 11th goal and team leading 41st point of the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The second frame of action featured physical play from both sides and a five-minute major penalty to the Jimmies drained any momentum the Jimmies had. Minot State capitalized twice on the man advantage and took a 3-1 lead into the third period.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">UJ could not get anything past the Beavers defence and goaltending in the third and gave up an empty net goal which made the score 4-1 for the Beavers. <a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink \" href=\"http:\/\/www.JimmieAthletics.com\/roster\/20\/33\/8939.php\">Tyson Brouwer<\/a> (SR\/Lethbridge, Alberta) made 32 saves between the pipes for the Jimmies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The Jimmies were outshot 35-30 in the contest.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">In nine meetings with Minot this season, UJ holds a record of 6-3.
