TUCSON, Ariz.\u00a0 (uj.edu<\/a>) —\u00a0<\/strong>Four pitchers combined to hold Antelope Valley (Calif.)\u00a0to one run as the University of Jamestown baseball team won 4-1 Monday afternoon at the Tucson Invitational Games.<\/p>\n Grant Okawa<\/a> (SR\/Mississauga, ON) had a monster day at the plate, driving in all four UJ runs while going 3-for-4 with a home run.<\/p>\n Jamestown trailed 1-0 entering the bottom of the fourth. Chase Hacker<\/a> (SR\/Millcreek, WA) was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and Okawa followed with his fourth homer of the season for a 2-1 lead.<\/p>\n Okawa struck again in the fifth, with a one-out single that scored Michael Asahara<\/a> (SO\/Spanaway, Wash.) and Jared Bentley<\/a> (SR\/Washougal, WA).<\/p>\n Kendall Yackley<\/a> (SO\/Lynnwood, WA) went the first four innings on the bump for UJ, allowing one run on three hits while striking out two. Austin Pesicka<\/a> (SR\/West Linn, OR) tossed two scoreless innings, followed by a scoreless frame from Aaron Pugh<\/a> (SR\/Boissevain, MB, Canada).
