{"id":195934,"date":"2020-04-03T15:07:53","date_gmt":"2020-04-03T20:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=195934"},"modified":"2020-04-05T18:10:04","modified_gmt":"2020-04-05T23:10:04","slug":"fri-joint-briefing-local-covid-19-response","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=195934","title":{"rendered":"Fri COVID Local Response CSi 10 &#038; Online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The April 3 Local COVID-19 Response Joint Briefing with City of Jamestown and Stutsman County representatives aired live on CSi TV 10 The Replay Channel and CSiLiveStream at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheReplayChannel\/videos\/804017930086462\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>.\u00a0 Replays on CSi TV 10 &amp; CSi 67 all weekend.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheReplayChannel\/videos\/804017930086462\/<\/p>\n<p>Invited speakers are from:\u00a0 Central Valley Health District, Jamestown Regional Medical Center, South Central Human Services, City of Jamestown, Stutsman County, Jamestown Public Schools.<\/p>\n<p>Central Valley Health District Administrator Robin Iszler said so far in Jamestown 144 test were performed at Sanford Clinic, and Jamestown Regional Medical Center, NO positives at this time.<\/p>\n<p>She asks all residents to maintain social distance, and avoid gathering of more than ten people.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone having a donation of masks is asked to call CVHD at 701-252-8130.<\/p>\n<p>JRMC CEO Mike Delfs said, at\u00a0\u00a0 42 patients have been tested, using the State Lab for results\u2026NO positives.<\/p>\n<p>At the Hospital limited doors are open, and those entering will have their temperature taken and will be screened, with questions.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cRosie\u201d the sanitizing robot continues to roam the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>He is in touch with Sanford Health in Fargo, to match plans for future care needs.<\/p>\n<p>He said criteria needs to be met before they may be tested for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital is still available for other services, and call the hospital before entering the ER in person, and describe symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Auditor and COO, Nicole Meland said the courthouse is not accepting walk-ins, but the staff is working and available by phone.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the June election will be by mail only, and no physical polling locations.\u00a0 There will be no early voting.\u00a0 Absentee voting forms will be mailed to residents, in order to be mailed an election ballot, starting later this month.\u00a0 Drop off locations of ballots will also be established.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich said the April 6 City Council meeting will be a virtual meeting with the audio live on CSi Cable Channel 67, followed by replays.\u00a0 Residents can also call a phone number to listen to the meeting, as well.
