News May 28, 2013) &#8212; The Jamestown City Council met in Special Session Tuesday afternoon in the lower level meeting room, at City Hall, with legal counsel and representatives of Stutsman Rural Water District, along with Titan Machinery representatives, and at the conclusion of the meeting parties indicated an agreement was near.\u00a0 <strong>REPLAY of meeting\u00a0now airs on CSi TV\u00a0 10 &#8211; The Replay Channel<\/strong>,\u00a0 and is available here.\u00a0 Details of the meeting posted below video.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/kgaz9za6lI0?rel=0\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At issue is which entity will serve Titan Machinery\u2019s location under construction west of Jamestown, and other parcels in that area, within the one mile extra-territory of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>At Tuesday\u2019s meeting, the Titan contractor, said the new facility west of Jamestown has had the sprinkler system approved, to meet fire fighting needs, and will connect with Stutsman Rural Water District within the next week, whether the city and SRWD reach a formal agreement, or not.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0city and Stutsman Rural Water District have agreed to allow Titan Machinery to connect to Rural Water at its earliest convenience.<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, Mayor Andersen said the City of Jamestown is ready to go forward with an agreement, as is Stutsman Rural Water District, and both parties indicating a formal agreement may be forthcoming within the next two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00a0agreement purportedly will modify the proposed contract between the two parties.\u00a0 If the next draft with the modifications is approved an agreement could be finalized in the next two weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
