The Yard of the Week program has been established to recognize those within the community that take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community.<\/p>\n

TRENTON, N.D. (AP) \u2014 The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of two motorcyclists killed in crash involving a van and a semitrailer near Trenton.<\/p>\n

The Highway Patrol identified the victims as 20-year-old Blake Reynolds from Fairview, Mont., and 18-year-old Edmund Kimmel from Roundup, Mont.<\/p>\n

The patrol said the van was trying to pass the semi on state Highway 1804 near Trenton about 10 p.m. Thursday and collided head-on with the two oncoming motorcycles.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the riders of both motorcycles were thrown from the bikes. One driver landed in a ditch and the other was struck by the semi.<\/p>\n

The man from Fort Worth, Texas, who was driving the van was taken to a Williston hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the semi, from Alpine, Wyo., was not hurt.<\/p>\n

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota National Guard family members have honored all of the state’s Guard soldiers killed in the global war on terrorism. The sixth “Memorial Road March” was held Sunday morning in Bismarck. The nine-mile trek began at 9:38 a.m. near the Memorial to The Fallen in the Global War on Terrorism and ended at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.<\/p>\n

It had identifying characteristics of both a walleye and a sauger, so genetic material was sent to a lab. \u00a0BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) – David Frost closed with a 4-under-par 68 to win the Champions Tour Regions Tradition at minus-16, one stroke ahead of Fred Couples. Frost parred the final two holes after his birdie on 16 moved him ahead of Couples.
\n\u00a0It is Frost’s second victory of the season and fifth career win on the 50-and-over tour.<\/p>\n

\u00a0UNDATED (AP) – Inbee Park birdied the third playoff hole to capture the LPGA Championship, her second major title this season. And David Frost closed with a 4-under-par 68 to win the Champions Tour Regions Tradition at minus-16, one stroke ahead of Fred Couples.<\/p>\n

Nadal beat fellow Spaniard David Ferrer (feh-REHR’), 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 to improve to 59-1 at Roland Garros, with his lone defeat coming against Robin Soderling (SAH’-dur-ling) in the fourth round in 2009.

LONG POND, Pa. (AP Jun 9, 2013) \u2014 Jimmie Johnson absolutely dominated Sunday at Pocono Raceway for his third victory of the season.<\/p>\n

The Sprint Cup points leader, Johnson pulled away on both of the last two restarts over the final 10 laps to pull into Victory Lane at Pocono for the first time since he swept both races in 2004.<\/p>\n

Johnson also won the Daytona 500 and at Martinsville Speedway this season. He led 128 of 160 laps for his 63rd career Cup victory, and was never seriously challenged a week after his run at a possible win at Dover International Speedway was taken away by a penalty off a restart.<\/p>\n

Greg Biffle was second and Dale Earnhardt Jr., Johnson\u2019s teammate, was third. Dover winner Tony Stewart was fourth, followed by fellow Stewart-Haas Racing driver Ryan Newman.<\/p>\n

After only one caution in the first 125 laps, they came in bunches over the last 35. Johnson held off Earnhardt with nine laps left and pulled away one more time with four to go.<\/p>\n

Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano rounded out the top 10.<\/p>\n
