(AP) \u2014 The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of two motorcyclists killed in crash involving a van and a semitrailer near Trenton.<\/p>\n<p>The Highway Patrol identified the victims as 20-year-old Blake Reynolds from Fairview, Mont., and 18-year-old Edmund Kimmel from Roundup, Mont.<\/p>\n<p>The patrol said the van was trying to pass the semi on state Highway 1804 near Trenton about 10 p.m. Thursday and collided head-on with the two oncoming motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said the riders of both motorcycles were thrown from the bikes. One driver landed in a ditch and the other was struck by the semi.<\/p>\n<p>The man from Fort Worth, Texas, who was driving the van was taken to a Williston hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the semi, from Alpine, Wyo., was not hurt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota National Guard family members have honored all of the state&#8217;s Guard soldiers killed in the global war on terrorism. The sixth &#8220;Memorial Road March&#8221; was held Sunday morning in Bismarck. The nine-mile trek began at 9:38 a.m. near the Memorial to The Fallen in the Global War on Terrorism and ended at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Bismarck man who survived three gunshot wounds to the head says the murderer who nearly killed him got off too easy by dying Friday of natural causes while awaiting execution on Death Row in California.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fifty-eight-year-old Billy Carns was left with one arm and foot paralyzed, his short-term memory sapped and his personality forever altered from the attack. (AP) &#8211; After three days of competition in the oil boom town of Williston, a Grand Forks woman has been crowned Miss North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Laura Harmon was named winner of the competition Saturday after vying with 21 finalists from across the state. (AP) &#8211; Wildlife officials have used genetic testing to determine the species of a record fish caught in the Yellowstone River in northwestern North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dan Faiman, of Fairview, Mont., caught the 12-pound fish early this year. It had identifying characteristics of both a walleye and a sauger, so genetic material was sent to a lab. LeBron James added 17 points and eight rebounds to help the Heat even the series at a game apiece. Danny Green had 17 points for the Spurs, who turned the ball over 17 times.
