(NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a motorcyclist was killed Saturday about 2:42-p.m., when his trike was side swiped by a semi on State Highway 15 ,a half mile east of Fessenden.<\/p>\n
Sgt Matthew Johnson reports, 67 year old Dale Mason of Fessenden was coming from a grain elevator in Fessenden heading back to his farm east of Fessenden on State Highway 15. Mason did not stop at the stop sign at Oak Ave and State Highway 15 and struck a motorcycle trike traveling eastbound in a right-angle to sideswipe collision. The motorcycle and motorcycle driver 77 year old Robert Hatton, 0f Harvey came to rest east of the intersection. Hatton suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Mason did not suffer any physical injuries.<\/p>\n
The crash is still under investigation by the NDHP.<\/p>\n
Assisting at the scene were: The Wells County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Fessenden Ambulance Service, and Fessenden Fire Department.<\/p>\n
