\"\"<\/a>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The James River Humane Society is featuring three black cats available for adoption, during October, as Adopt a Black Pet Month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Board member Jay Nitschke said, the cats are:<\/p>\n

\u201cDolly,\u201d a 10 year old female cat, \u201cPitch,\u201d a six year old male cat, and \u201cPancake,\u201d a 12 week old male cat.<\/p>\n

Those interested in these or any of the 25 cats available, can call the James River Humane Society Cat Manager, Sheila at 701-367-6913.<\/p>\n

For dog adoptions call the shelter at 702-252-0747, and the Dog Manager, Kris Meidinger.<\/p>\n

Jay also said, Jamestown car dealerships are hosting a friendly competition at which\u00a0 dealers are collecting donations for the shelter through the month of October, to see which dealer can collect the most.<\/p>\n

She added that the James River Humane Society is welcoming monetary donations, in lieu of not being able to hold fundraising events due to social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
